Last updated 4 November 2026. Ring My Leads, Amritsar, Punjab.

We handle your data and your leads' data with care. This page explains what we hold, why, for how long, and how to ask us to delete it.

Who this covers

This policy explains how Ring My Leads handles personal data, following India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). It covers:

Our role

For our clients' account details, we are the Data Fiduciary: we decide how that data is used.

For lead data, the client who uploaded it is the Data Fiduciary. We are the Data Processor: we use it only to make the calls and reports the client asked for, and for nothing else. We never sell lead data and never use one client's leads for another client.

Data we hold

Account detailsName, business name, mobile number, email (if given), city, team members' numbers, login history.
KYC documentsBusiness proof, PAN, ID of the authorised person, and a short video check if we do one.
Lead dataNames, phone numbers and enquiry details uploaded by clients or sent from their Facebook Lead Ads or CRM.
Call dataCall recordings, transcripts, call time and length, the answers the lead gave (for example budget or visit day), and the call result.
BillingTop-ups, usage, payment references from the payment gateway. We do not see or store card or bank login details.
WebsitePages visited, a random visitor ID in your browser, and the details you type in the demo call form.

Why we use it

We do not use lead data for advertising, and we do not sell any personal data.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run the service: phone and voice providers to place and record calls, AI providers to understand calls and write summaries, cloud hosting, a payment gateway and WhatsApp messaging. They may only use the data to provide their service to us. Some of them may process data outside India, which the DPDP Act allows unless the Government restricts a country.

We share data with the police, courts or regulators only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Lead data, recordings, transcriptsWhile the client's account is active, and up to 12 months from the call. A client can delete it sooner. Deleted within 30 days after the account closes.
Do-not-call listKept as long as we operate, so the person is never called again. It holds only the number and the date.
KYC documentsWhile the account is open. Deleted on request after the account closes, unless a law or an open complaint needs us to keep them longer.
Billing recordsAs long as tax and accounting laws require, usually 8 years.
Demo call requestsUp to 12 months.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can:

If you got a call from us for a business: say "do not call" on the call, or message our Grievance Officer. We add your number to that business's do-not-call list at once and pass your request to the business. For deletion of your data, we act on the business's instruction, and we help them do it quickly.

How we protect it

Data is stored with encrypted connections and access only for people who need it. Recording links are signed and expire. KYC documents are kept separately and only used for verification. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.

Children

Ring My Leads is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.
